We were impressed from our first contact with Fiore by their exceptionally helpful responses and their general efficiency, maintained throughout. They very readily adapted the tour for us so that we could start in Muggia rather than Piran. The bikes were excellent, rugged enough for the sometimes very rough Parenzana line. They were well equipped with panniers, good lights, and a soft plastic phone holder. We managed OK with the one cable lock provided between two bikes, but given the value of the bikes, which we had to take responsibility for insuring, this lock would not have met the insurer’s required security level. The route was excellent - we enjoyed the variety of landscapes; the mix of off-road, quiet lanes and light-traffic roads; interesting places for lunch stops (such as Koper, Livade, Bale); fabulous coastal sections; and the thrill of arrival each evening at another stunning destination, each one different in character. On a couple of occasions we did encounter dauntingly heavy traffic for a short stretch or crossing. We like navigating by paper maps. Fiore provided a set of excellent map print-outs which were easy to use, in combination with the digital route. Hotels were very good or outstanding, the only exception being the lacklustre Martis Forum in Porec. We did the trip in the first week of October - although a bit end-of-season and just too cool for evening meals outside, it was uncrowded, the temperature was perfect for cycling, the sun shone and the sea was calm and warm.

Overall, the trip was a great experience and we really enjoyed our time in Slovenia and Croatia. The planning with Fiore was easy - you were great about answering all of my questions. You were also very accommodating when we wanted to shorten the number of days of the trip to fit our schedule. All of the hotels worked out well for us - we stayed in Piran, Grojznan, Motovun and Porec. The app worked well and the route was generally easy to follow. We had a bit of trouble with a reroute around a landslide (Grojznan to Motovun) but that was our fault - we forgot to bring the written directions provided by Fiore. It would've been helpful if our Fiore contact (Felix) could've provided us with the new route but he didn't know about the landslide. He was extremely helpful when our party lost a saddle bag that same day. We had been searching for 2 hours for the bag and Felix located it within 10 minutes and had it delivered to our hotel. The ebikes were great - very high quality.

We were two of us from India cycling through Italy Slovenia & Croatia, Trieste to Piran to Buje to Novigrad to Motovun to Porec to Rovinj to Pula The route was very cycling friendly, through tunnels and forest paths, through Vineyards & Olive plantations specially catering to cyclists The accommodation were really comfortable, the small restaurants with fresh sea food on route were great, the small towns were too cosy and friendly It was a life time experience and Fiore Tours made the whole experience worth while and comfortable, booking all our 4* hotels, renting us the Cycles and transporting our baggage, totally a professional job well done
