Itinerary
Arrival in Zagreb and transfer to Varaždin. Varazdin is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Croatia, a baroque city known for its music and flowers. Visit the old town’s beautiful fort, which dates from the 12th century. It has survived through Croatia’s turbulent history and today it is a part of the city museum of Varazdin. See Varazdin cemetery, created by the visionary Herman Haller – not only a place for the dead, but also an architectural jewel. Wecome dinner and overnight.

After breakfast your day of biking can start. The first stop will be Trakošćan, a beautiful castle surounded by a lake. Passing by small, charming villages you will arrive to your next stop, Krapina, town that has the largest and richest collection of the Neanderthal man that was ever been found. And the final stop is your accommodation, Hotel Villa Magdalena.

Starting from Krapina, biking the hilly roads of continental Croatia, you arrived at the birthplace of marshal Josip Broz Tito where you can also find his birthouse and his Memorial Museum. Biking through the little villages, small road brings you to the river Sava where you will take Skela (ferryboat) over the river Sava that connects the coast of Samobor and Zaprešić.The ferryboat is held by a tight steel rope while it gently slides to the other side, and you get to enjoy a unique traffic break. Since sugar comes last, your last stop will be Samobor, a town known for their pastry, kremšnite!

After breakfast we start cycling on the Plešivica wine road which is adorned in by beautiful tame landscape, cultural and historic sites, tradition, and friendly hosts. Despite being the smallest wine region in Croatia, the southern slopes of Plešivica are one of our established and most successful vineyards with a grapevine cultivating tradition that is not measured in centuries, but in millennia.
After biking along the hills roads you arrived at Karlovac, the town of encounters, the town of parks and the town on four rivers Korana, Kupa, Dobra and Mrežnica.

After breakfast starting from Karlovac, passing by the beautiful small villages of continental Croatia you arrived at Ogulin.
Ogulin is a town located on the border of Lika and Gorski Kotar. It is a town under whose streets are cannals of caves and tunnels and over which rises the steep stone peak of the Klek mountain. You ended the day with a beautiful fairy tale town in which you will be even overnighting at the Hotel Frankopan.

After a day in a fairytale town you are going to cycle through Gorski Kotar, a green oasis in the heart of the Kvarner Region of Croatia. It’s a landscape which is blanketed with forests, sunny meadows, rolling hills, steep mountains, and crystal clear lakes, streams, and rivers. Fužine has so many beautiful places for walking and biking, especially around the three lakes: Bajer, Lepenica and Potkoš. Church of St. Anton Padovanski is the largest religious building in Gorski kotar. The church is decorated with exquisite marble altars, valuable paintings and crystal chandeliers. Among the original works in the church, there are the “Last Supper” above the altar, which has been restored, the original Stations of the Cross and the frescoes painted by the famous Croatian painter Antonini.

The final destination of your trip is Novi Vinodolski, the town that was once on the way of the old Frankopans, emerged from their fortress called Novigrad, developed and expanded to the coast, and is today a famous tourist town.
