Join us in exploring the former narrow-gauge railway line Parenzana, which was turned into a true attraction for cyclists! You will be thrilled with the small picturesque towns, and landscapes dotted with old villages through which you pass. Sweeping into beautiful valleys with forests and rivers framing them and then emerging onto the slopes of the hills, the beauty of the nature will take your breath away.
Take a short break and soak up the abundance of peace and greenery. On this interesting trip you will pass through tunnels, over bridges and viaducts, between olive groves and vineyards that give this area special charm. The medieval hill towns of Grožnjan and Motovun will delight you as much as the pristine nature of the protected areas of Lim Bay.
Based in Poreč and cycling everyday to another town will give you a diverse mix of coastal and inland rides, gastronomic delights, and opportunities to explore Istria's rich culture and history, all set against a backdrop of stunning natural beauty.

In the morning you will take a shuttle to Momjan, where you start riding on wine roads heading towards the coast. The ride along this trail is particularly pleasant because you are riding along the coastline with beautiful bays where you can enjoy the breathtaking Mediterranean landscape with green vineyards and olive groves. Today you are passing through town of Novigrad and by Mirna river delta along the coastline until you reach Poreč. Once in Poreč, visit the famous Euphrasian Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and stroll along the seafront promenade. Enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants in the old town.

Vrsar is known for its artistically significant history and its connection to the famous Italian adventurer who came back event two times. Head toward the Kontija Forest, a lush green area ideal for nature lovers. The forest is protected, rich in Mediterranean flora, and offers shaded paths perfect for cycling. In Kontija, there are several viewpoints where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Lim Bay and its surroundings.

In the morning you will take a shuttle to Grožnjan, typical Istrian medieval town sprout high on top of a hill along the right coast of the river Mirna, renaissance loggia dating from 1585 and the beautiful St. Vitus and Modesto’s baroque church. If you just occasionally pass along its streets in which almost every door leads to art studios or galleries, and which windows from every direction echoes the sounds of different music genres, from classical to jazz, you’ll understand why Grožnjan is known as "The town of artists". From Grožnjan you'll ride on quiet Istrian village roads through beautiful Završje, ride alonf the river Mirna and arrive to Motovun, surely the most famous and attractive Istrian medieval hill-town. The road continues to the town of Višnjan which is on 246m altitude and from there you'll be able to catch a view on west Istrian coast and the coastal town of Poreč

In the morning you will take a shuttle to Tinjan. Start your ride through small villages, passing by the the ruins of the medieval town Dvigrad. Just to stir your imagination – you are now in an area where many legends and mysteries based on historical events still live on: that of Dvigrad devastated by the plague because of an ancient curse, of the buried treasure of Captain Morgan's pirates near the village named after him (Mrgani), of the cave where the remains of the primitive man were found and where, as legend has it, St Romuald used to live as a hermit in the Middle Ages. Continue riding on a small local road, first you will reach Svetvinčenat. With its grandiose Morosini-Grimani citadel with towers, parish church, municipal loggia and a line of 16th century houses of the Renaissance and a town cistern - šterna in the middle, Svetvinčenat really belongs to a range of the most attractive Venetian creations of that period effected in this region which held one of the rare witchcraft trials in Istria during 17th century.Continue cycling on asphalted road you will reach Bale. You can visit the Bembo palace, city square and museum. From Bale you will be riding on mix of gravel and asphalted roads and trail all along the coast until you will reach Rovinj, the "Pearl of Adriatic“. Known for its picturesque old town and vibrant harbor. With narrow cobblestone streets, colorful Venetian-style buildings, and a bustling waterfront, Rovinj exudes a unique blend of history and Mediterranean charm. The town’s centerpiece is the Church of St. Euphemia, which offers stunning views from its bell tower. In the afternoon shuttle back to Poreč.
