Absolutely amazing experience. I've put in a lot of miles on bikes over the years but have to say this trip was one of the all-time best. It had it all: champagne gravel, chunky stuff, single track, road, cobbled climbs, and butter-smooth tarmac. Equipment was good (Cube Allroad) and zero mechanical issues. Map/software was easy to use and had good highlights of things to hit along the trail (i.e. lots of wineries!). Food recommendations were excellent and lots of options. Transport of gear was flawless and staff (both Fiore and Hotel) were super nice. It was great going at your own pace with lots of time to enjoy the sights.

The trip was amazing! Everything was well organized and went very smoothly. All Fiore staff were responsive and helpful. The app was user friendly and we appreciated other's comments about bringing a backup battery/charger pack - that was a necessity. We really enjoyed the additional 'pop up' information audio segments when we approached significant historical sites. I wish there were a few more - maybe include a general one at the start to the day's segment giving more detail to the specific region we would be riding through. The lodging was all great.

I was planning to reach out to you but you beat me to it! We absolutely LOVED our bike trip! We have done 7 self-guided bike trips in Europe now and the one we just did in Istria is at the top of the list. The rides were not as magnificent as some of the others and the terrain wasn’t as stunning as some of the rides in Greece, Piedmont and Corsica. However, the overall experience was the best. Specifically: Working with you during the planning for the trip was delightful. You were always available, responsive and communicative. The bikes were definitely the best e-bikes we have used – so comfortable, great motors, long lasting batteries, easy charging… And, Felix was so helpful and invested in the bikes and our enjoyment of our trip I know you don’t typically offer this but having Felix drive us during our first day because of the rain was a lifesaver. We were really sad to miss the first ride but the rain at the time was torrential and would have been very difficult/unsafe to ride thru. We rode in rain for 2 other days and it was challenging but also memorable. This first day would not have been a good experience so the fact that Felix was driving our bags to San Rocco anyway and offered to drive us made a HUGE difference. The app was far and away the best one we have used. It was so intuitive, and the visual and auditory cues were perfect! We felt safe and confident throughout the trip. Plus, the recommendations of things to see and places to eat/drink along the routes was really nice I am so glad we chose to spend 2 nights in Rovinj. There is too much to see and experience to just be there for 1 night. If I was to redo the trip I might have even spent a third night so that we would have time to try out one of the beach clubs. I would consider 3 nights in Rovinj. I would keep that in mind as a recommendation to other travelers We were very glad we chose the 4 star hotels. Some were great and others were, honestly, just okay: Hotel Vis a Vis in Trieste was very comfortable and a great location Hotel San Rocco in Brtonigla was really special. The setting was stunning, the breakfast was far and away the best of the trip, and their nice restaurant was fantastic! Hotel Kastel in Motovun was awful! The only good thing was the location. It felt like staying in a hostel or a budget tour hotel. The rooms were ugly and dated, the lobby was like a college dormitory and the breakfast was terrible. We knew based on availability that this was only a 3 star hotel but there is NO way this is 3 stars. Would not stay there again and you should not have people that have elected for upgraded hotels stay here, ever! And the fact that we only saved $75pp for this downgrade seemed really unfair Hotel BO Plazzo in Porec was nice enough. Pretty basic but a good location, decent lobby and nice outside space. Another terrible breakfast (they didn’t even have yogurt and fruit!) Hotel Melegran in Rovinj ended up being great but it did take a bit to get used to it and get it right. We loved the wonderful location right in the heart of the old town. Their breakfast arrangement with the restaurant Balbi just a few steps away was wonderful. That said, it was a different experience and a bit more self-service. Our first room was so small that it was claustrophobic! Seriously it was tiny and cluttered with so much stuff. The stuff was cute to look at for about 5 minutes but soon it became just clutter. Luckily they had another room available that was a bit larger and more comfortable. We were very happy to be staying in the old town rather than the more modern hotels across the marina that we saw as we were riding out of town Hotel Park Plaza Histria in Pula was nice. It was a beautiful setting, nice rooms, nice lobby. It was challenging to find a place to have dinner. The hotel only had a buffet restaurant that seemed like it was made for convention attendees. The actual town of Pula is way too far to go for dinner. We ate at a place on the water that was less than 10 minutes away by bike. Note, if you have other travelers stay here and they need to depart early and want a box breakfast you should talk to the hotel about this. The breakfast that they gave us at 6:30am was a really bad turkey sandwich with slimy lettuce. I saw the breakfast buffet being set up and it looked wonderful. They could have given containers of fruit, yogurt, muesli, pastries… All in all a wonderful and memorable trip and we would recommend Fiore to anyone doing a trip in Croatia. It is clear that you guys really care, you are very professional and offer a quality experience. Thank you for all of your hard work in planning a fantastic first trip to Croatia.
